It constitutes the pack of information that makes the organization valuable to competitors.You will not be able to design an effective and workable marketing plan until you will not get many people involved in its making. Useful information you can only gather from those workers at the workplace who are involved in company’s running activities like finance, manufacturing, supply departments and many others who would provide you with advantageous pieces of information so that you could use it while making the potentials of plan. Marketing plan is the section or a part mentioned in the business plan. Business plans completely spells out what your corporate strategy and business is all about. What you would do and what you will not. Therefore, business plan encompasses more than the marketing plan does. It gives the complete outer look of what you want to achieve and what your strategic goals are. Business plan provides the company with a healthy environment in which your marketing plan could flourish smoothly. Marketing plan and business plan run side by side.
